Servotech Renewable Power System has secured an order for a 1,415 kW rooftop solar project from the Vijayawada Division of Indian Railways’s South Central Railway, further strengthening its presence in India’s renewable energy and public infrastructure sectors.
Under the contract, the company will handle the complete execution of the grid-connected rooftop solar project, including design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning across multiple railway facilities in the Vijayawada Division. The project was awarded through a competitive bidding process, reflecting Servotech Renewable’s technical capabilities and growing track record in executing large-scale institutional and government-backed clean energy projects.
The initiative aligns with Indian Railways’ broader objective of increasing renewable energy adoption, reducing reliance on conventional power sources, and lowering carbon emissions through sustainable infrastructure development.
The contract also strengthens Servotech Renewable’s institutional order pipeline and expands its engagement with Indian Railways. It highlights the company’s continued involvement in government-led renewable energy programmes aimed at supporting India’s transition toward cleaner and more sustainable energy solutions.
